What is the Administrative Record?

The Administrative Record (AR) contains the documents that form the basis for the selection of a CERCLA response action. They are made available for the public to browse and download here.  Hard copies may be requested by emailing:  VHASLCSuperfund@va.gov.

The Anderson Foothill Library no longer houses hard copies of the Administrative Record.  Instead, they are made available for the community through this website. The files are in .pdf format and require Adobe Acrobat or a web browser to read.  

Administrative Record

In accordance with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Administrative Record (AR) is used as a vehicle for public participation in selecting and documenting the response action. Therefore, the AR contains the documents that form the basis for the selection of the CERCLA response action. The documents are organized chronologically, by CERCLA phase.  The AR hard copy documents may be requested by emailing our team at:  VHASLCSuperfund@va.gov. We will respond to requests as soon as possible.
