Remedial Technologies Depicted in Photo Gallery

Vapor intrusion is when volatile gases present in the soil which is beneath a building may enter or “intrude” into a building through cracks or holes in the walls of the foundation.  An EPA vapor intrusion Fact Sheet is provided here.
Sampling of residential seeps and springs is another remedial sampling technology used to gain a clear understanding of the PCE plume.  A Fact Sheet on residential seeps and springs is provided here.
Groundwater Monitoring Well Drilling occurs within the vicinity of the PCE Plume. This is necessary to support the required Groundwater Sampling, essential to characterizing both the horizontal and vertical extents of the contamination. An illustration of groundwater monitoring well drilling and sampling technologies is provided here.

The gallery below includes photos of the remedial technologies used to support the sampling program.
